What is laser grading?

Laser grading is a highly accurate land leveling method that uses a rotating laser transmitter and a receiver mounted on the grading blade. As the blade moves across the field, it automatically adjusts up or down in real time to match a pre-set target elevation - delivering a consistently level surface within a fraction of an inch.

Unlike conventional grading where the operator estimates and adjusts manually, laser grading removes the guesswork entirely. We use a Kubota SVL97-3 track loader equipped with a Level Best dual-slope precision grading blade — a purpose-built laser grading setup designed for accurate, consistent results. The track-drive machine handles soft or uneven Florida terrain with ease, and the Level Best blade automatically adjusts in real time based on the laser signal, delivering a finish grade you can count on.
